This Privacy Policy describes how VerdaWorld ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Information We Collect

Game Progress Data — Your game state (city layout, resources, scores, prestige level, and settings) is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device unless you participate in the global leaderboard.

Leaderboard Data — If you choose to participate in the global leaderboard, we collect:

Your display name (sourced from Apple Game Center or Google Play Games)
Your game score

This information is stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore to power the leaderboard feature.

Authentication — Sign-in is handled entirely through Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android). We do not collect, store, or have access to your account credentials, email address, or any other personal account information.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
Location data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
Photos, contacts, or any other on-device data

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Firebase Cloud Firestore (Google) — Used to store leaderboard scores. Firebase Privacy Policy

Google Play Games — Used for player authentication on Android. Google Privacy Policy

4. Data Storage and Security

Local game data is stored on your device and is managed by the operating system's standard data protection mechanisms. Leaderboard data stored in Firebase is protected by Google's infrastructure-level security. We do not transmit any data over unencrypted connections.

5. Children's Privacy

VerdaWorld does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information to play. Leaderboard participation requires a Game Center or Google Play Games account, which is governed by Apple's or Google's respective age requirements and parental controls.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local game data can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data through your device settings. Leaderboard entries stored in Firebase are retained as long as the leaderboard feature is active. To request removal of your leaderboard data, please contact us at the email below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
